Press Release: The Digital Marketing Aptitude Test announces the appointment of Global Academic Council

An important milestone that supports career advancement

The Digital Marketing Aptitude Test (‘DMAT’), the global standard in assessing and certifying digital marketing knowledge, announces the Global Academic Council.

The Council is composed of respected academics from around the world who support the DMAT’s vision of making digital marketing education more accessible, to more people, more often.

The DMAT is an objective assessment to screen potential digital hires, reducing the risk and costs of hiring people without the adequate skills. The DMAT certification provides passing candidates with a verifiable and shareable signal of their digital marketing expertise.

The Global Academic Council consists of 7 leading academics from four continents and serves as the body to ensure rigour and fairness within the assessment to ensure validity. Serial entrepreneur and Chairman of the DMAT, Rob Stokes, said, “The Council is a crucial step in creating global credibility and ensuring the continuous enhancement of the assessment”.

“Bringing together academics from around the world was not a simple task, however this brings us one step closer to achieving our overall mission; to make digital marketing education more accessible, to more people, more often” added Steven Fine, President at The DMAT.

Cindy Cragg, the Head of Council, also serves as the Academic Director of the Communication Management program and an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Denver in the USA commented, “I am proud to lead the Council that will elevate the The DMAT and, in tandem, increase awareness and credence around the importance of access to professional credentials”.
