The DMAT certificate verifies up to date digital marketing knowledge to give companies confidence when promoting and employing digital marketers.

The DMAT provides individual and team certification, employee skills benchmarking and employment pre-screening.

The Digital Marketing Aptitude Test was launched out of leading digital marketing educator Red & Yellow Creative School of Business and was separated in the same year to become a standalone organisation.

The DMAT Global Academic Council, which comprises seven leading academics from four continents, continuously maintains the academic quality and rigour of The Digital Marketing Aptitude Test. 

What does the Global Academic Council do?

Confirm the content and validity of the DMAT for each of the categories. This is done by quarterly reviews and adjustment of questions to achieve defined outcomes.

Rob Stokes

Rob Stokes is an investor and entrepreneur focused on the technology and education sectors. He founded award-winning digital agency, Quirk, in 1999. He built Quirk into one of the largest agencies on the African continent before selling it to the London listed global leader, WPP, in 2014.

Currently, Rob is the Chairman of The Digital Marketing Aptitude Test and The Knowledge Trust.

Further, he serves as a non-exec director at Brandseye, Openbox and Cloudone.mobi.

FAQ

There are no prerequisites for taking The DMAT. It is an “open” certification.

Focus on learning the categories for the certification and you will be in good stead to succeed on your test day.

The DMAT costs $125. However, financial aid is available for individuals who cannot afford the cost of the certification.

The working environment has become extremely competitive with a degree being a minimum requirement in many places. The world of work is changing rapidly and while a degree holds significant standing as an academic achievement; the future years will render most current degrees redundant. You need to stay relevant and up-to-date with a certification that proves your latest industry knowledge and development. 

The DMAT takes thorough preparation and adequate understanding of digital marketing from the e-marketing textbook. However, if you would like to test yourself with your current knowledge, you may tackle The DMAT short quiz.

In order to take the test, navigate to the Log in page and input your email address and password. You will then be redirected to the test platform where you can read through the instructions before writing the test.

Step 1: Download your free textbook on our home page and register to take The DMAT here. 

Step 2: Study the textbook thoroughly as you only have one attempt to write the test. The test is two-hours and consists of 250 MCQs with five potential answers and one correct answer. 

Step 3: Attain 60% or more in order to earn your digital marketing certification. If you score high enough you could rank on our Top 100 Global Leaderboard.
